Tre Cime di Lavaredo

The iconic Tre Cime di Lavaredo towers in full colour, taken during our week-long campervan trip through the Dolomites with my girlfriend. With the colour left in, the scene takes on a completely different character - the warm tones of the rock against a blue sky and green alpine slopes, much closer to how the eye actually experienced it standing there.

I find it genuinely interesting how differently the same exact view can read depending on whether colour is part of the story or not; this version is the warmer, more immediate read of the peaks, while the black-and-white version elsewhere in this collection leans into something more timeless and graphic.
